Q: How do I order tickets?
A: You can order tickets online here or download this mail order form.

Q: How much are tickets and can children attend?
A: Tickets are available for $75 per person and you must be at least 16 years old to attend. Tickets will be sent out mid-October along with a location map of all the properties.

Q: When is the last day to buy tickets?
A: Tickets will be available to buy online until 31st October and mail orders must be sent before 31st October.

Q: Can I buy tickets on the day of the event?
A: There is the possibility that a limited number of tickets will be available to purchase on the day at the lunch venue. However, tickets are strictly limited so we recommend pre-purchasing early to avoid disappointment.

Q: How do I get to the properties?
A: This is a self-guided self-drive tour, which means you can take in the homes and gardens at your own pace. You'll receive a map of the properties mid-October so you can find the best route to suit you.

Q: Will there be any market stalls at the properties?
A: Just in time for holiday shopping, there will be a variety of carefully selected stalls at the lunch, morning and afternoon tea venue. Eftpos will be available, it is advisable to also bring cash.

Q: Can I view photos of the homes and gardens featured in previous hearts & homes?
A: A gallery of the 2013 and 2011 events are currently featured on the Arohanui Hospice website.

Q: What homes will be included in the event?
A: There will be 10 individual stops on this year's tour but the exact details are being kept secret until the tickets are sent out mid-October. This year's hearts & homes will feature a mix of homes within Palmerston North and Feilding.

Q: Can I buy lunch morning/afternoon tee?
A: You can pre order a professionally catered lunch for Friday or Saturday when you purchase your tickets.

You will also be able to purchase on the day a selection of freshly made morning/afternoon teas at the lunch venue. Freshly brewed coffee and selection of the finest Dilmah teas will be available.

About Arohanui Hospice

Now in its 11th year, our biennial hearts & homes charitable event helps to contribute towards the $2.5 million funding shortfall needed this year alone. Arohanui Hospice is only partially funded by the government so money raised from this year's hearts & homes will help us care for more than 800 patients and their families.

Established in 1991, Arohanui Hospice in Palmerston North has provided specialist palliative care for people who have a life-limiting illness. Hospice care is holistic, encompassing the physical, psychosocial, spiritual and cultural needs of the patients and their family. Care is free of charge and provided wherever people need it at the hospice inpatient unit, at home or an alternative comfortable environment.
